I was turning Patty out the other morning and when I saw our shadows, it looked like we were walking on stilts. I just thought it looked funny so I took a pic. What a circus act!
We were expecting a Nor’Easter here in Jersey and it was awfully windy / rainy out yesterday so I let the horses stay in. Last night it wasn’t too bad out so I let them out for a few hours. Here are some shots of how that looked.
Patty gets a lot of water in his food to make it like a slurry so he can digest it a little easier. And just like a baby, he gets his food all over his face when he eats. Guess I’ll need to teach him how to use a napkin!!
Us NJians woke up to a little more of the white stuff today for Valentine’s Day. Here are some pix of what the farm looks like all covered in snow. Pretty!! Happy Valentine’s Day!
In the horse racing biz, January 1st is a Thoroughbred’s birthday. So yesterday we celebrated Centanni’s, Patty’s, and Cartwright’s birthdays with a little extra hay! Happy Birthday kids!
