The horses stay out all night at this time of year. Here’s Patty getting ready for bed at 6am.

We RARELY see Patty (he’s very camera shy), so I took one when he was otherwise occupied!!

People always ask me how the horses are doing in this cold. Two things that help keep them warm are 1) warm clothes; and 2) hay. Here’s Patty with both!

Thanks to Katie, Patty got his mats reset. Now he can actually get around in his stall without tripping. Thanks Katie!!

Taking care of some personal hygiene things for Patty before winter sets in. Requires water so we wanted to take care of that before it gets too cold.

Katie and Jay had their photographer come to the farm to take their “Save the Date” photos. Somehow even mom got in on the action. oops!!! 🙂

Patty’s the lucky one that gets to go out on the new field with all the tall grass. Something in the field makes him foam at the mouth. It looks like shaving cream!
