Jack and Captain are buds!!
Everyone got their feet trimmed….good for another 30,000 miles so to speak
Thank you to everyone who came to visit us at Yardley Harvest Day this year! They said they had a record number of attendees this year. Such a nice venue, with GREAT people.
Most especially I’d like to thank my crew: Barb, John, Tracy, Madison, Jason, Jenny, Jarrett, Linda, Andrew, Nancy, and Bob for such hard work for many hours in the heat.
As well, my love for my horses/ponies grows stronger each time I ask them to take such good care of the kids climbing all over them. I couldnt ask for better ponies.
We retired Jack after Harvest Day this year. That was his final public appearance. Now he gets to spend the rest of his days by his girlfriends side eating all the grass he wants. Love you Jack! Thank you for so many years of the best you have to give. It did not go unrecognized!
It was a spectacular day!
Happy Birthday Jack!!!
After 42 years with Gary as our farrier, he decided it was time to retire. So now we welcome his son Glen into the mix. Thank you Glen!!
They each have their own pile of hay….but they prefer to share. Their love for each other is so adorable!
We had a blast at Yardley Harvest Day on Saturday! Fun fact: walking horses around for 5 hours = about 10 miles! Dont pay to join a gym….sign up to work a big even like this instead!
The horses just can’t wait for fresh, cold water when refill in the hot summer afternoons. So they share the first bucket I pour…
In honor of this year’s Kentucky Derby, Jack was invited to spend some time with some local senior citizens at Hunterdon Care Center! Jack visited the nursing home to say hello and get the residents prepped for some big-time horse racing. We weren’t permitted to take pix of the residents, but Jack met just about all of them up close and personal. It was a nice treat for all of us to see such smiles as the residents got to pet Jack!!!
