One load short?

Bad picture, but I ended up having to run for one more load of hay this weekend. Underestimated. This load makes 145. Hopefully this one will do it and we’ll see some grass soon.

Spring Like Day…

Saturday was beautiful in Jersey. Nice day to sit outside in the yard and play “stick”, don’t ya think??

They’re engaged!!!

Never before in Keona Farm history, one of ours got engaged!!!! Congratulations to Katie (Patty’s mom) and Jay! Figures I’d screw up the picture of the precious gems!!! (sorry)

“Curious George (Jack)”

I was TRYING to take a picture of the dirt right smack on the front of Jack’s face but he wasn’t cooperating. He was way too curious to see my phone! Silly boy!

Primped pony

Last night Delilah’s mom Jen and her friend Jamie came to visit. So Delilah got all KINDS of luvins!! Here she is showing everyone how beeeeeeeeeeeautiful she looks!!

Our “patient”

Well, Cartwright has FINALLY been diagnosed with Lymes Disease. He still has some trouble getting himself around with his painful joints. But here he is headed outside this morning.

Aw, I LOVE this pony!

Even though Chevy has lived with us for many years now, I still marvel at how cute he is! He’s my boy! Ya gotta just love that hairdo!!! We call him Tina Turner. 🙂 (hope she doesn’t mind).

Happy Birthday!!!

Today is Maverick’s 5th birthday!! Happy Birthday my favorite puppy!!! Here he is eating his chew bone last night (his favorite)!

Back in the saddle….so to speak…

Jen came to visit Delilah last night and decided to go for a ride–BAREBACK! Delilah hasn’t been ridden since last summer and she was a perfect angel!!! Good girl Delilah. Great job riding Jen!

Waiting for some grass….

Calendar SAYS its spring, but the horses will have to wait about another month before the grass starts poking through!!
