Ha! ha! Cartwright was eating some REALLY tall grass when I went to bring him in. I put his halter on and the grass got a little stuck! No worries, I fed it to him instead! YUM!
When I put Cartwright out for grass he has a hard time deciding if he’d rather keep eating, or lay down and roll. When he finally makes his decision to go down, you can hear him grunting with pleasure!! It must feel so good!
Well, Cartwright has FINALLY been diagnosed with Lymes Disease. He still has some trouble getting himself around with his painful joints. But here he is headed outside this morning.
Lately it seems all the animals are needing prescription medications. Here are all the drugs I dish out in the morning these days…..3 drugs for poor Cartwright and 1 for Alex.
The horse world ALWAYS comments on two things: 1) we HATE mud; and 2) We can’t WAIT for Daylight Savings Time!!! As of Monday I might be turning the horses OUT in the dark, but at least I’ll be bringing them IN before the moon comes out!
