It was early this morning and I didn’t have a picture for LOTF prepared so Mav stepped in at the last minute. Here he is right outta bed waiting for his breakfast.
The horse world ALWAYS comments on two things: 1) we HATE mud; and 2) We can’t WAIT for Daylight Savings Time!!! As of Monday I might be turning the horses OUT in the dark, but at least I’ll be bringing them IN before the moon comes out!
Mia (the one being held) ALWAYS wants to go visit the “nays” when she comes over. So the kids all came out for a visit while I was feeding. They brought carrots so the horses LOVED it!
Yesterday I got to visit my friend Toula!! For those of you who are ‘regulars’ to LOTF, you’ll remember that Toula stayed with us last summer and weighs all of about 4 pounds! She’s a little pip!!
Poor Delilah hasn’t been feeling herself the past 2 days. Had the vet stop by last night to pump some oil and water into her belly. Hopefully that’ll do the trick! Poor girl!
Patty gets a lot of water in his food to make it like a slurry so he can digest it a little easier. And just like a baby, he gets his food all over his face when he eats. Guess I’ll need to teach him how to use a napkin!!
Well it looks like Delilah had some fun rolling around in the mud yesterday! At least the big horses are wearing blankets and stay SOMEwhat clean. Uh, Jen (Delilah’s mom) where ARE you?????????
Every morning when I turn the “twins” out, they stop at the hay cart to eat the scraps. That’s when I get to throw MY weight around and try to push them out the door. Yeah, right!
