As we were ripping the roof off on Saturday we found this between the flashing and the roof! Don’t worry….we made sure not to disturb it. Mommy kept coming back to check on it throughout the day and settled in again as soon as we were done.
Saturday was the start of a roofing project on the little barn. After 1 empty dumpster, lots of take out, a few trips to Home Depot and many hours later, we finally got rained out. But, for the record, it WASN’T supposed to rain on Saturday!!! Thanks Shawn, Barry, Jordan and Jason!!!
When I put Cartwright out for grass he has a hard time deciding if he’d rather keep eating, or lay down and roll. When he finally makes his decision to go down, you can hear him grunting with pleasure!! It must feel so good!
Delilah got some SERIOUS TLC last night from her two grooming angels (Katie’s mom and sister)! It looked like a war zone out in her pasture last night! But here she is showing off how beautiful she looks! She feels MUCH better.
Centanni, Jack, Chevy and Delilah had an appointment with the farrier last night. We were a bit late with that. Made quite the mess! Their hooves look good!
Some of you might remember that Centanni needs to wear horsey sunglasses during the summer. I took them off of her the other night when I brought her in but I made her carry them. Horsey ears are so versatile!!!
The horses buckets are all color coded so I can make sure they each get their own bucket back each time I clean them (daily). Anyone wanna guess who’s got which color??
Even Mav gets a rain sheet to put on when its raining out. He doesn’t much like wearing it but at least it keeps him dry while he’s wandering around outside!
