Early Trick or Treat!

Back on winter schedule
The horses got switched over to their winter schedule again which means they are out during the day and in at night now. Here are Jack and Centanni ready for bedtime after dinner.

Jo came to visit us last month at the market and decided she loved Jack. Well, this month she got to meet Chevy and decided she loved him too!!! She brought him LOTS of carrots and peppermints. And I got sent home with a goodie bag and love note for Jack!

graze. They’re LOVING life right now!
The fastest way to a horse’s heart…
….is to feed him treats!! Eleanor’s family farm grows carrots and she quickly figured out the best way to get Jack’s attention! Jack says ‘thank you’!
More VBS…
We were invited to another Vacation Bible School this weekend. This little girl fell in LOVE with Chevy.
But then…she decided she was feeling brave enough to meet Jack!
Then…it was Pastor Mike’s turn in the saddle!
Vacation Bible School
Our weekend events started early this week. We were hired to do a local church’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) closing picnic on Friday. We gave rides to about 150 kids. Three horses, about 10 volunteers and 2 hours later, here are some shots. Thanks to Linda, Meg, Kayleen, Madison, Jen, Kimberly, Tracy and all the others that I don’t even know!
Got an itch….
Too bad Jack didn’t twist around TOWARD me, but here he is scratching an itch (which required him to stand on three legs.)
