The girls are a little nervous about being around Captain because he’s so big! They were brave enough to pet him out in the field once they could climb up onto the fence and get closer to his height.

Riding helmets are NOT warm…it gets cold riding a pony–and its not about fashion, so ya gotta bundle up!

Ella is only three years old, but she’s getting the hang of handling a pony on her own!
When I started our little farm, I set out to make a positive impression on kids thru the horses and the ponies. I’m proud to say I think I’ve succeeded with my goal. Between all the little notes hanging on the stalls in the barn written by adoring kids, people driving by the farm and screaming “CHEVY!” out the window and honking the horn, and now parents are sending me pictures of their kids getting toy horses and naming them after their favorite pony here on the farm. It proves to me that you don’t have to be a big outfit to leave a big impression! Meet a few of the “new” Chevy’s and Delilah’s and welcome them into these kids lives….Merry Christmas to ME.

First snow of 2020. Didn’t take long to start sticking!

A gorgeous sunset just before the first snow dumped on 2020.

Delilah LOVES her warm water! She’d rather drink that than the water in her stall.

This is BY FAR the largest Christmas card I’ve ever received! Thanks girls!! Merry Christmas to you too!

Burke was a big help when putting out the electric buckets!

Rich has graciously offered to install water and electricity to the back of the farm for us! We are SO grateful! This is an EXTREMELY GENEROUS gift that we can’t thank him enough for!!!! Thank you Rich!!
