Maverick gets up with me every morning. Today he decided to sleep in a bit while I got ready for work. But by the time I went outside to feed the horses, he had changed his mind. Here he is in the window upstairs, upset that I didn’t take him out with me!
The farm next door has the very best corn, so we get all excited when we see it start to pop up out of the ground!! Here it comes!! Should be ready for the 4th of July weekend!
I learned to drive at an early age cause my dad let me drive the pick up on the farm. So I figured it would be fun for Nick (15) to drive too! Here he is…first time behind the wheel!!! Didn’t take long before he was driving through the gates and going anywhere he wanted. Good job Nick!
Chevy was invited to yet another birthday party this weekend and this time I think we met our BIGGEST fan!!! Meeting Chevy for this little guy was like meeting a celebrity!!! He just couldn’t contain himself and couldn’t WAIT to have his picture taken with Chevy.
Meet Mia (left) and Madison (right). Mia kept saying she wanted to ride Chevy so Madison said she would spot her. Once we got Chevy all groomed and tacked up, Mia decided she was too scared! So she just wore the riding helmet instead!! Guess we’ll need to work on getting her used to Chevy!
Mav hates the heat. So, it was time for a much needed haircut!!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!
Our second stop on Saturday was to spend the afternoon at a local vineyard for their Spring Festival. We gave pony rides over there all afternoon. This little guy wanted so badly to go on Chevy but he didn’t want to take his beach hat off so he let us put the helmet on him over top! Hey, whatever works! So cute!!
