I couldn’t resist! My friend is visiting Australia for work and took a walk. Look who she bumped into???? Koala Bears have been a life-time want for me. I want one, but they say they’re pretty nasty.

Like clockwork, the heated water buckets go out on Thanksgiving weekend EVERY year. Check. But ever since I put this new one out for Delilah it hasn’t worked. First, as I’ve learned, it was because the plug in our garage isn’t working. So I changed that. Still nothing. Then I figured out that one of the extension cord connections was bad. NOW it’s working! Phew! That’s a long way to haul water every morning!!!

Every year about this time, Rudolph the reindeer emails me to make sure each of the horses has a stocking for their stall door. You see, while Santa is in the house, Rudy stops by the barn to visit his friends, wish them a Merry Christmas and leave them some treats in their stockings!

Poor Mav “met” the electric fence this morning. He was sooooooo upset! He just went back inside and hid under the bed. My poor baby!!!

With all the mud recently, none of the horses seem to be their natural color. Last night Delilah had a Xmas angel come and groom her. Now she’s a blonde again!! (well, until later today I’m sure.) 🙂
