Vet was out yesterday to float (file) teeth. Looks a bit barbaric, but its the only way to see all the way to the back teeth (horses have teeth all the way back to the back of their jaw).

We were invited to another Vacation Bible School this weekend. This little girl fell in LOVE with Chevy.
But then…she decided she was feeling brave enough to meet Jack!

Mundane chores
Well, it certainly isn’t glamorous, but it IS necessary. So after a full day of pony rides, here’s Jen taking the manure to the manure pile last weekend. Thanks Jen!
Those pesky pests!
The horses go out close to dusk these days to keep the flies off of them. But Delilah can’t help but roll when I turn her out. She wants those flies OFF!!!
Hopefully some relief…
Cartwright is still battling his cellulitis. But I think he’s starting to get ahead of it now. The cold water hosing helps to relieve the heat anyway.
Cooling Off
Sam and Alex taught Maverick how to cool off when the weather is unbearable. Jump in a puddle of course!!! ahhhhhh…..
Vacation Bible School
Our weekend events started early this week. We were hired to do a local church’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) closing picnic on Friday. We gave rides to about 150 kids. Three horses, about 10 volunteers and 2 hours later, here are some shots. Thanks to Linda, Meg, Kayleen, Madison, Jen, Kimberly, Tracy and all the others that I don’t even know!

uh-oh….
Cartwright’s back in the news….he’s got cellulitis in his left hind. Daily visits from a vet and many drugs later, he seems to be feeling better!!
