Gotta look closely but Mom was letting baby explore a little bit. They let me and Mav get prettttttttttty close!

Well you can’t tell from this picture, but there is a cute (but very noisey) Hawk perched up in the tree making all kinds of noise. Well, last night there were TWO Hawks playing and flew RIGHT (and I mean RIGHT) over my head. Have fun kids!

Sometimes Mother Nature just needs a little help….this little guy fell out of his nest and was still alive after plummeting 20 feet–so we had to lend a hand to momma…..he’s safe & sound with his brothers and sisters again….

I found this while I was out with Maverick. I got to thinking how it doesn’t look like much to US, but imagine just how much work this is for an ANT! That’s a pretty nice homestead for an ant!

Wow….seems a bit early but ‘Mother Nature’ has a different opinion obviously. I’ll go with whatever she says…she’s bigger than me.
