Nappy time
People ask me all the time if horses really sleep standing up. The answer is yes. But sometimes they just like to lay down for a nice, quiet snooze….

Jack’s getting gray…
I usually notice the gray around the eyes and Jack’s HAD that. But this weekend I noticed how gray his nose is…….24 and counting.

Limited Turnout
The drifts are so bad the horses are having trouble cutting paths thru the snow. Here they are on the path I made to the shed for them! Spoiled horses!!!
Meeting Jack
This little guy couldn’t have cared LESS about Jack. He didn’t change his expression even once while he was near Jack. Wasn’t afraid but wasn’t excited either….don’t worry Jack….he’ll be riding by this time NEXT year!
Annie get your horse!
Meet Annie. She’s just a puppy but she decided SHE wanted to lead Jack (the horse) while we were at the market!! Good thing she just sat there!
Sleeping on the job!
Horses are on night turn out so when I took Jack to the market on no sleep, he couldn’t stay awake! He almost toppled over!! Jack! Don’t you know that’s bad for business!?!?!??! Sorry buddy!
