For some reason Mav just LOVES to climb up on top of this mulch pile! He just perches up there and looks around the farm. Seeing him against the white snow just makes me realize how much he needs a bath!!
Anyone who knows Mav, knows he’s a scaredy cat. Well, he won’t even go down the steps by himself. So here he is waiting for me to come and get him for our morning walk.
We have two conk shells on our back porch and Maverick is FASCINATED by them. He loves to go sniff them. Here he is trying to get to it after I put it on the table. awww, poor Mav.
Chevy has such a thick winter coat that he gets covered in snow but doesn’t feel the cold. Horses fluff their fur up to trap the warm air in and keep them warm. But on the outside none of his body heat escapes so the snow doesn’t melt leaving him with a blanket of snow.
Delilah often produces just one tear in her left eye that just sits under her lower lid. Well, because its so cold out, the tear freezes to her eye lid and makes a tiny little icecicle that I have to wipe off when I bring her in. Poor thing!
