Not sure if you can see it really well, but I came out one morning and found this guy in my back yard!!! He’s beautiful! If he left any babies anywhere I couldn’t find them!

I literally almost stepped on this little guy when I was walking into the barn last night. He’s got all his feathers but he can’t quite fly yet so I put him in the hay cart in the barn until he feels more confident and to keep him safe. I’m hoping mommy will continue to feed him til he can scrounge up his own grub!

With the garden in full swing now, I found this guy eating my tomato plants. It’s called a Tomato Hornworm. I can never tell the head from the tail, but apparently the part right by my fingers is the head. Either way, he’s outta here!!!!

I had a different picture all set for today until I was sitting in line at the inspection station and this beautiful kid parked himself right in front of me! he made sitting in line very entertaining!!!

The barn swallows are all out hunting for food in full force. This guy just kept watching me work outside. I’m naming him Harvey. (not like I’d ever recognize him again!)

Now that it’s stopped raining, it’s time to cut the grass!!! The grass is so high right now I have to mow it a few times to get it all cut. But the horses are gonna love it cause its so thick and rich!!
