More NJ Alzheimer’s Classic Polo…Jack used to be my friend Linda’s horse and live with Scooter on their farm. Every year Scooter joins us for Alzheimer’s Polo so Jack gets to spend the afternoon with his old friend. Here are the two buddies happily grazing before we head home.
Chevy was invited to a 1 year old’s birthday party this weekend. The birthday boy didn’t do any riding, but his guests did!!! The kids couldn’t get enough of little Chevy. They would cut each other off in line and cry if they couldn’t ride next. Here’s Chevy new fan club!!
Now that it’s so warm out, the horses have moved into their summer schedule which means they’re in all day and out at night. Here’s Chevy enjoying his dinner outdoors!
Chevy was invited to yet another birthday party this weekend and this time I think we met our BIGGEST fan!!! Meeting Chevy for this little guy was like meeting a celebrity!!! He just couldn’t contain himself and couldn’t WAIT to have his picture taken with Chevy.
Meet Mia (left) and Madison (right). Mia kept saying she wanted to ride Chevy so Madison said she would spot her. Once we got Chevy all groomed and tacked up, Mia decided she was too scared! So she just wore the riding helmet instead!! Guess we’ll need to work on getting her used to Chevy!
Our second stop on Saturday was to spend the afternoon at a local vineyard for their Spring Festival. We gave pony rides over there all afternoon. This little guy wanted so badly to go on Chevy but he didn’t want to take his beach hat off so he let us put the helmet on him over top! Hey, whatever works! So cute!!
