There is so much manure to move! The 2 tractors (appropriately named ‘Johnny’ and ‘Deerdra’) moved manure all day on Sunday. And no, we’re STILL not done! Thanks Jenny and Jarrett!

We either have too many horses, or we’re feeding them too much! But either way, its gonna be some really nice fertilizer when its done cooking!
Not sure you can see the difference very well, but this is a glimpse at how the fresh manure (left) turns into excellent soil (right). They (whoever “they” are) call the soil “black gold” because it’s so dark and rich. The new pile will take about a year and a half to turn to black gold. Anyone want some REALLY NICE fertilizer?? My fields love it!!
